A Mysterious Package...
Hello again everyone.
Today I received a mysterious package in the mail. I was out getting my hair cut with Colin and my roommate H David texted me that I received a package. I was quite curious what was in this package. As we returned home I found the box in my room and I immediately looked at where the package came from. Before that I inspected the box, then focused on the shipping label. The sender was someone named Peter Luger, and the box came from New York. It was nicely taped up and said Keep Refrigerated on the sides. I was very very curious. I opened up the box, and found a temporary cooler in it. From my experiences with Criminal Minds and CSI on television, I worried that someone had sent me a hand as a gag gift, or some type of organ. I'm just kidding. I opened the cooler and found that there was a card inside of it, and the card was from Kim, my boss back home! It definitely wasn't what I was expecting in the box. Kim sent me two large steaks from this company and two bottles of sauce. It was amazing!!! I'll let everyone know how it is when we cook it tomorrow. I'm gonna have a small dinner with H David and my other roommate Colin.
Thank you Kim!!! How did you know that I was going to go and buy a Ribeye steak today at Publix. It's like you read my mind. =)
Fun Factoid!!!

Just couldn't wait.
Hello Everyone!
I'm still working on that "detailed" post of the past four months, but I had something to share that I just couldn't wait to post it.
On Monday I worked at Saratoga Springs-Grandstand and I had two magical moments. Well sort of. First I got to interact with a guest with a disability. I suspect that he had autism, or something similar because he didn't speak well and was all over the place. He had this cool tablet that he could type something and it would vocalize what he wanted to me. He proceeded to ask me when the Animal Kingdom bus would be arriving and I told him about 5 to 10 minutes. The look on his face was amazing. He was so happy and couldn't sit down. I overheard him telling his mother that "he asked the worker over there is this was the place to wait." As his bus arrived he signed thank you to me. It was a little awkward because I didn't know how to sign you're welcome. For some odd reason I placed my hands together, in sort of an asian thank you pose and said you're welcome. That was the best I could do. haha. As he walked to the bus he gave me a thumbs up, and i stuck my hand up for him to give me a high five. He happily slapped my hand and walked to the bus. It was an awesome moment.
The second moment happened with a little girl. I was speaking with the family and I offered the girls a "Happily Ever After" button. Usually these are reserved for guest who have just got married, but since it had a Cinderella carriage on it, I offered it anyone. The girls happily took the buttons. As their bus arrived I walked towards the bus with grandma and one of the girls. When i turned around to go back into the bus shelter the other girl was right behind me and gave me a hug. A HUG!!! This was shocking and surprising. It was such a cool moment.
On a side note, I also had an awkward moment. I was offering "A Magical Triumph" button to guest when I asked if anyone was celebrating anything. One boy's mother said that he was celebrating completing chemo. By habit I said congratulations because that's what I say to everyone who i give one of those buttons to. After I said it, I felt quite awkward and it was awkward for the rest of the wait.
That's it for now. =)
FUN FACTOID!!!
